Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc

Your base camp in the heart of the Alps

The city of Annecy is an urban area in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is also the administrative centre of the Haute-Savoie department. It’s been known as “the pearl of the French Alps” since 1916 thanks to its strategic location: set between Lac d’Annecy and the Northern Prealps mountain ranges, who would say otherwise? In 2017, it numbered almost 124,410 inhabitants, with people continuing to move there all of the time. It’s located 55 kilometres from Chambéry and 42 kilometres from Geneva.

Discover Annecy

Once you’ve put down your luggage, the journey can begin. Below the villa is Lac d’Annecy, and in its wake, an incredibly diverse range of aquatic and nautical activities. A morning swim or lakeside jog, paddle boarding or wake-boarding, a beach picnic or dinner cruise on board the Libellule, a jaunt in a pedalo or a sailing trip…

Getting to the Villa

By road, rail or by air, all paths lead to Annecy, Venice of the Alps. And when you’re there, Veyrier-du-Lac and the villa is just a quick 15-minute ride by car or taxi. Unless you prefer to take one of the ‘Lignes des Plages’ buses or a taxi boat, to get you into the swing of things from the off.
